With deep roots in real estate, we saw an opportunity to bring our passion for helping others and amazing customer service into the short-term rental industry. We noticed that many of our family members were reaching out for advice during their STR transformation process so with excitement we grabbed it and ran! Our diverse talents combined together quite perfectly – blending design skill, a love of homes and properties along with maximizing people’s hard earned money investments. Casa Reverie was an original name created based off the two separate meanings of the word. “Casa” meaning “home” in Spanish and “Reverie” meaning “daydream,” so our loose transition of the meaning is “Home of Daydreams.”Ultimately this idea embodies the atmosphere we strive to create for guests at our Short Term Rentals; a place they can escape to, yet feel right at home. We fell in love with this name and saw it so fitting for our line of “work;” if you can even call it that 😉

Think of us as a one-stop shop for knowledge and expertise with all things Short Term Rentals. Our background consists of over 10 years of experience in Real Estate Sales, Property Management, Project Management, Home Staging, and STR Transformations. This allows us to professionally serve any client at any capacity. We also own and operate our own Short Term Rentals which gives us invaluable insight and experience!

We pull our inspiration from the home’s destination. This is a key element in a successful short term rental. We know the vibe of each So Cal destination because we live here, but we also research other STRs to see what’s working for the best ROI (Return on Investment). After our consultation, we will create a mood board that aligns with the design goals of the property. Once you approve the inspo, we will get right to work!

Depending on your target audience for your short term rental, that can range from an economy budget to a luxury budget. We have a formula that we depend on to give our clients a general idea of what is expected to be spent on a typical unfurnished turnkey home. See example below.
 
Furnishing Budget Formula
a. Bedrooms/Lofts (includes common spaces such as entry, kitchen, hallways, living room, bathrooms, etc) = $5000 each
b. Additional Spaces (Bonus Room, Backyard, Balcony, etc.) = $2500 each
 
Furnishing Budget Example:
a. 1 bedroom home + loft + backyard =  $12,500
b. 3 bedroom home + bonus room + backyard = $20,000

It’s absolutely everything you need for the home to be operational as an AirBnB. This includes everything from furniture to kitchen utensils, towels, and soft goods such as soaps, detergents, conditioners, etc. Many forums will only account for big ticket items like furniture, and will leave out the small details such as self check in door locks and silverware. Our budget is accounting for the big and small items. From couch to coffee creamer, it’s included. If the home is in need of remodeling/rehab, we also offer project management services.

We completely understand that property transformations can sometimes be costly to start up, but the results are so rewarding! We require the entire furnishing budget to be paid for up front so we can get to shopping! The remaining balance will be due upon the final turnover.

Mapping out the furnishing expenses is extremely beneficial to our clients and ourselves. But in the case of any overages, we will apply any credits from the furnishing budget over to our service charge. We pride ourselves on being extremely transparent and provide each owner with an itemized product and expense log upon turnover. Not only does this track your expenses, it makes reordering items in the future a breeze.

Example:
Casa Reverie + Co. collected a $15,000 dollar budget to furnish the home. Our running balance at the end came to $14,000. That left over $1,000 would apply as a credit to the service charge invoice.

Time is money and we want to get your short term rental property up and running as soon as possible! With that said, the setup/design process is no walk in the park, but with us on your team we can take that burden off of you! Starting from the initial property walkthrough and design consultation, typical homes, not including homes that need renovating, can expect to be turned over and operational in as little as 30 days!

At Casa Reverie + Co., we dedicate ourselves on exceptional customer service + hospitality. We charge 18% of the Gross Monthly Revenue for our Hosting services. This includes all communication with your guests (including follow-up for reviews), vendor coordination, scheduling bookings, supplying and restocking all of your soft goods*, and monthly quality home inspections.

Toilet Paper, Paper Towels, Dish Soap, Hand Soap, Laundry Detergent
Conditioner/Shampoo/Body Wash
*we will purchase welcome gifts, coffee, filters, olive oil, s+p, tea, creamers, sugars and invoice you on a monthly basis

Management companies handle accounting, monthly and/or year end reporting, and revenue distributions, along with the typical day to day. However, with those additional services, you will often pay between 20-30%, sometimes even 50% monthly gross revenue in fees. Our Co-Hosting experience is client and guest driven with a much more tailored approach to obtain those 5 star reviews we all desire! Keep your money in your pocket by letting us handle the core operations and success of your STR. Our hosting services provide you with an unmatched personal experience and attention to detail than a property management company. You handle financials, we’ll take care of the rest.

Because our motivation is to give our clients and guests the best possible experience, we typically only offer our Co-Hosting to clients that have used our design services, however, please inquire and we will see what we can do for you!

We would love to help you! We serve most of Riverside County, San Bernardino County, San Diego County, and Orange County. We have on occasion offered out of area services but it is determined on a case by case basis and additional charges will apply. Our Virtual DIY Design Package #3, can be applied to anywhere in the country, with the exception of the initial home visit becoming a virtual home visit.
